![]() This ship seems to need to under lead or put it at 1:1 9s travel time, aim at 9, 10s travel time, aim at the 10, or barely any lead, like 10s, put it at 10.15s. If you see a ship at 9.5s, put it at the 9s or 9.5s mark and fire. I know I couldnt get them to land hits cuz I was following the normal gunnery I learned in this game. What is the problem your having with the guns? Dispersion? Most CVs don't go for me or haven't gotten any TBs to hit me. I had her with a sort of AA spec (AFT+BFT+AAGM2 upgrade, no Manual AA trait) and just like NC she can tear planes apart. Even with this TDS you are not going to survive something like a Shimakaze F3 torpedo ambush. I see Alabamas falling for the same torpedo / island ambushes that other BBs fall for. Tirpitz didn't survive that encounter.Įven though she has an amazing TDS, you still have to respect torpedoes, especially from DDs and Cruisers. 1 from a Sims Water Mine (of all things) and 3 from a Tirpitz but the TDS reduced that to 21k damage for all 3 torps. ![]() I get a lot of torpedoes thrown my way and only 4 have hit me. I don't have Vigilance nor TASM1 upgrade but I can only imagine the torpedobeats someone in a 'Bama with either or both of those things on her. It lets her do ULTRA-SUPER-LATE-BRAKING for torpedobeats. This is very good for baiting fire and going back to an angled / bow on profile. She is easily, BY FAR the best handling USN BB in the game. She reminds me of how the USN Standard BBs like to turn, but she has the same top speed as NC. When you got her down to 1/2 or 3/4 speeds the turns she can do is stupidly nice. This ship handles beautifully, better than NC.
